Cook the Vote! is a grassroots democracy campaign that challenges Americans to educate themselves about politics and democracy over the dinner table.
Our mission is to cultivate informed voters through community dining and open discussion about food and food politics.
So get your friends and neighbors together for supper. Pick up something from the farmer’s market or use that jar of tomatoes you canned last week. Pick something to talk about. No need to write a report or call your congressman. Just pick up the local paper and bring it with you, read our Blog, or invite a poli-sci guy.
We all love to eat good food and there’s no better way to eat democracy than wrapped in food and dipped in politics.
